This week we went deeper into diodes. We started exploring how a diode work and why it only travels in one direction. I have learned a lot on how the diode works internally and that has helped me to better understand what happens when they fail. Here is a video that helped me understand diodes.

This week we started back into electrical systems in class. We are working on shorts, relay systems, voltage drops, and open grounds. It is great getting back to electrical and refreshing my skills.

This week I started back in class at school. I have started to learn about fuel injection pumps. I took apart a Bosch single-plunger fuel injection pump. I learned how simple these pumps can be and the many different types of pumps.
