This week I had an interview with PAPE to be a forklift technician. They would train me for the position as a backup/helper for the other mechanics.

The past few weeks I have been applying for jobs at many different companies.

FQ13 Alignment

This week I have learned a lot about how to align a truck. I learned that you first have to start with the front axle and have to drive the truck in forward so the wheels set how they normally drive down the road. After the front axle is aligned then you can work your way back from there.

FQ13 Air Brakes

This week I have learned a lot Air breaks and the way they are plumed and how they work. I have also learned about anti lock brake valves and how those work.

FQ13 Wheel Bearings

This week I have learned how to correctly put wheel bearings on and torque them to proper specifications.

FQ13 chains

This week I have learned a lot about fixing chains for a harder and grader. The chains I was fixing had some bad crosslinks and buckles. I learned how to crimp the chain links properly and remove the old ones.
